About Art Walk Lewiston Auburn
Our mission is to foster a sense of community and celebrate the vitality of the down towns of Lewiston and Auburn by promoting self-guided tours of local arts venues.
Originally a grassroots endeavor supported by community members, Art Walk Lewiston Auburn has been a great cultural event for the Twin Cities. L/A Arts, the new host, is excited to continue to grow and develop greater exposure for Art Walk Lewiston Auburn. More venues are participating than ever and a proposed expansion past Lisbon Street, over the bridge and into Auburn, is sure to make this a can’t-miss, monthly event.
Once every month, from May through September, we will turn the downtowns of Lewiston and Auburn into impressive arts districts. Don’t forget, Art Walk Lewiston Auburn events are more than just the galleries. Each month L/A Arts will feature live musical performances and numerous other arts centered activities. In hopes of matching the popularity of other cities Art Walk events, L/A Arts continues to examine our downtown communities, envisioning the revitalization of vacant lots and use of innovative canvases. L/A Arts has chosen themes for Art Walk events for 2013. May’s Garden Party, June’s Color ME, July’s Dine en Blanc, August’s Block Party, and September’s Perform It, are sure to be fun events for the whole family! Stay tuned for detailed information!
